There is no universal law for all Germany that regulates speedlimits, BUT there are practically very few sections on the Autobahn where you can speed because local and individual speed limits are all around. It is an absolute myth that you can speed anywere in this country. The closer you come to cities and areas with much traffic you can totally forget about it.
